ULTRA 50:50 - Low cost automation for quantitative re-collection

ULTRA 50:50 is a patented and space saving solution for automated thermal desorption (TD) and re-collection of up to 100 standard sorbent tubes. ULTRA 50:50 allows the trap desorption (outlet) split flow from 50 sample tubes to be quantitatively re-collected onto 50 clean sorbent tubes. Alternatively, the outlet split flow from up to 100 samples can be re-collected back onto the same tubes.

ULTRA 50:50 systems also offer automatic dry purging of tubes in the sampling direction and can be configured for internal standard addition if required.

Automated re-collection now enhanced with tubeTAG

Series 2 ULTRA 50:50 systems are cost-effective and easy to use. Colour coded trays clearly identify sample and re-collection tubes.

Systems incorporating the TubeTAG™ read/write option take error-free sample tracking to another level. With TubeTAG read/write, ULTRA 50:50 systems log the unique ID numbers of original sample tubes and of the corresponding re-collection tubes, both on the respective individual tube tags and in the automation sequence. Subsequent interrogation of an individual tube tag can be used to confirm if that tube is either:

A desorbed sample tube with the sample re-collected on tube ID No. Mi 0XXXXX or
A tube that now contains the re-collected sample originally desorbed from tube no. Mi 0YYYYY
